A little more about Yin and Reiki:
Yin Yoga is a passive and gentle yoga practice that uses long held postures to release tension and increase flexibility deep in the connective tissues, fascia, and joints. Most poses will occur in a relaxed state while lying on your mat.
Reiki ("ray-kee") is a form of non-invasive energy healing that involves tapping into the infinite field of universal healing energy. This energy helps to remove energetic and emotional blockages, relieves pain, corrects energetic imbalances and so much more.
Shadow Yoga
We all are light and dark, yin and yang, sun and moon.
We cannot be truly whole if we deny any part of ourselves. In this 2 hour workshop guided by Jaqui Rodriguez we will identify our shadow. Using visualization, journaling, yoga, and meditation we will pull our shadow out of the dark and into the light recognizing the power of our shadow side for transformation and breaking bad habits. Be sure to bring a journal and an open mind.

Beginner’s Foundations of Yoga Series
We take the intimidation factor out of learning the basics of yoga in a laid back atmosphere. We will touch on asanas (poses), pranayama (breathwork) and the philosophy behind yoga in this 3 part series. This series is perfect for beginners or for anyone wanting to brush up on their current practice. 3 Wednesdays in a row beginning on December 2 @ 7:15PM.
